In order for us to give our dogs the best possible home, it is important for us to limit how many dogs we keep at our home. To be a good breeder of quality dogs we need to keep, evaluate, and add quality bloodlines into our breeding program. We like to keep a few of our “pick” puppies to monitor their growth and development. After completing our health testing (DNA, Eye, Hip & Elbow scoring) and temperament testing some will eventually fit into our breeding program. We prefer to place these “pick” puppies in guardian family care homes. An Australian Labradoodle loves being a part of family day to day life.
Our guardian families have a close bond with us and our home is like a home away from home for the dogs as they can have their holidays with us or just come for a catch up and a play on a regular basis.
If you become a guardian family the dog is essentially your pet but we own breeding rights to them.

Who Qualifies As a Guardian Family?
- We are very selective of who we choose to become a guardian family. Our primary concern is that our dogs go into safe homes where they will be well taken care and loved as a family member.
- We will make a home visit prior to acceptance.
- Must NOT own other entire dogs. Number of other dogs living in the household is viewed by each individual application.
- Guardian families should live within a 2 hour drive of our homes, Auckland South.
- They must be in a home where they are not able to escape, property must be fully fenced. (We do not condone the use of electric dog boundary fencing.)
- All training/raising/caring must be via force free training methods.
- We expect the dog to be a part of the family and sleep inside.
- Guardian families must be willing to have us stop by on occasion.
- This is not a program for someone who wants to be a breeder, but a guardian family in order to provide good forever homes for our dogs.
