PUPPY ADOPTION PROCESS
If you are keen to know more, send us an email [email protected]. We will reply via email with our minimum criteria and our 'Help Us Get To Know You' form, we will then contact you for a Labradoodle telephone chat :-)
We take considerable care in choosing families for one of our gorgeous puppy's. We do not sell our precious puppies on Trademe or in Pet Stores.
One way to skip the queue is to be a guardian family. We sometimes keep a pick of the litter puppy to continue our lines. Click on the Guardian Information below for more information on becoming a guardian family.

Getting to know our families not only approves them for one of our puppies but helps us in matching the right puppy with the right family lifestyle. Every puppy in the litter has a different personality, energy levels etc. Sometimes the first sex/colour preference may not be the best puppy personality fit so we encourage our families to be as open as possible. However, where possible we aim to tick all the boxes to a families first preference.
We encourage families to ask us questions as well.
We pride ourselves on being open, transparent, ethical breeders producing consistently healthy high quality multi-generation Australian Labradoodles with a calm temperament and soft, non-shedding, stunning coats.
Visiting Us
We get a lot of people wanting to come and visit our dogs and puppies. While we love to show off our gorgeous Labradoodles we must maintain our beloved dogs and puppies’ safety and health and therefore we adhere to strict invitation only visitation policy for those approved families getting a pup from that litter.
Why do we have such a strict visitation policy? Safety of our dogs and puppies comes first every time!
Visiting is strictly by invitation and appointment only. Visiting of puppies is strictly for those families who have been allocated to a particular litter.
Puppies are not protected against disease that can be brought in on shoes or clothing. Many breeders have lost entire litters of puppies due to disease being brought into the breeder’s home. You don’t have to touch a puppy to transfer disease to them. Your shoes and clothing can bring it in and leave it on the floor or furniture, only to be transferred to the paws of the Mum dog, who then transfers it to her babies.
We like to raise and socialise our puppies in such a way that their risk to disease and/or injury is as low as possible so that we can deliver healthy puppies to the families who are waiting for them.
We keep a calm environment for Mum and her pups to thrive.

Allocation Information
We arrange a visiting day where individual families allocated to a particular litter get to meet the litter their mum and of course us. If you are unable to visit due to your location we can send you extra photos of the pups that meet your wish list and chat with you about which pup will be best suited for your family.
When the puppies are 6-7 weeks of age and have passed a health check by our vet, puppy allocations are made in consultation with families who have been allocated to that particular litter.
You are able to watch your puppy grow via pictures and video that are updated on our Facebook page and join our private Facebook group for Tui Ridge Puppy Families once you take puppy home.
Your new bundle of joy will be ready to take home at 8 weeks of age. You are able to pick him/her up from us in person or we can arrange air travel at an additional cost within NZ and internationally, prices vary depending on your location.
We request the balance payment for your puppy be made prior to collection or shipping.
Please lock in your diary the date when your puppy will be ready to go home. We will be able to tell you what the date is as soon as the litter is born and you will have 2 months to plan ahead. If you are going on holidays etc. around this time, it might be better to wait for a different litter. Should you not be ready to take puppy home on this date he/she may be able to stay on with us as part of our additional puppy training service. Please talk to us further if you are interested in this as fees apply.
